Once upon a time I was sent to my room to read.
On my own -
I didn't realise the need of having telepathic and transformative experiences to grow,
my 3rd eye
I needed this information to sow into the third dimension.
The reason for my descension from the universal heaven coded in words... metaphysics were my clue...
to why I existed and what I needed to pursue - my purpose!
Trapped in a book full of codes - that wasn't given to the slaves.
False prophets in teachers clothings tried to tell us HOW to be saved - but I could read!
My parents had sowed that special seed... leading me to interpret and feed my children.
Untangle the coded lines to discover, that what they claim to have discovered was (and is) a lie.
Untangling the coded lines and reading inbetween them,
I quickly grabbed the e-motion,
waited for it to digest...
as I invested my pen in my own spells!
Once upon a time, this Black Child promoted the necessity of reading -
feeding on words to create your own spells.
To empower you to grab the energy in motion, our his-stories and her-stories buried with lines ___
But at this time has decided to come alive... ARISE!
Because unlike the ink from my pen...

Here's the VLOG!
THERAPY for Black Girls
It's been two years since I decided to throw away the combs and conventions and embrace my nature... in hair, body & Spirit!
Still loving the journey.
It's funny when I meet people that have only known me with locs.
It's pleasing when the people who knew me before can't remember a time when my hair was not knotted.
It's exciting to see how long they'll grow.
It's challenging keeping the lint (and bugs) away.... I am a human tree to them :)
I will cut them one day. But I will never waste my time grooming something that sheds.
by leaving them be your ANTENNA's will be at its upmost BEST!
Peace. Love. LOCS!!
Throw back to 2018!
I actually loved my locs at this length - and I embraced the process of watching hair transform :)

Hoodies All Summer by Kano
As mentioned above I'm trying out new ways to combine both Vlog and Blog styles on Sharla Reviews, and to kick start this merge what better way than to review a music album.
I've been playing Kano's Hoodies All Summer this fall, whilst away working in Nottingham and as always the mash-up of London and Jamaica grounds me in confidence and powere wherever I may be. (Click the link to buy CD including merchandise).
I went on for long enough in the above video, so wont write too much here... but here are my favourite 3 from the album - alongside their music videos for your entertainment!
Good Youtes walk amongst Evil

Above is a short collage of photo's and vids to celebrate reaching a year loc'ing my hair! I celebrated this milestone on Monday 5th August 2019, and it represents commitment, natural living and natural beauty, self love and my continuous journey of sifting out negativity when and where I can. HERE IS TO MANY MANY MANY MORE YEARS of unconventional, unique living!
Lion King & 50 Shades of Grey
